Code of conduct
Suomen Viljava committed to carry out its business in a sustainable and responsible way. Viljava emphasises to ensure that all stakeholders will have confidence that Viljava operates responsible way, and requires its business partners to follow likewise responsible conduct. Viljava expects that each of its employee complies with code of conduct principles in their work.
Viljava is in addition following Corporate Governance Code and reports its Corporate Social Responsibility annually.
1. COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS AND REGULATIONS
Viljava follows applicable laws in all areas of its operation and monitors changes in legislation.
2. TRANSPARENCY AND OPEN COMMUNICATION
Communication within Viljava as well as communication with its stakeholders and authorities shall be open, transparent and factual.
3. CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION
Viljava is aiming to carefully protect confidential material and information. Employees should not disclose or use confidential information for personal profit of the employee or anyone else.
4. STAKEHOLDERS AND THE ENVIRONMENT
Viljava operates fairly and in co-operation with its employees, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders. Viljava does not accept any form of forced or compulsory labour or the use of child labour. Employees are treated equally regardless of e.g. age, race, religion or gender. Employees’ rights are respected, and in turn employees are expected to follow their responsibilities. Viljava seeks to prevent and reduce the environmental impact of its operations.
Giving and receiving bribes is strictly forbidden. Viljava or its employees do not pay bribes or make any illegal actions to promote or secure our business. Employees may only give and receive personal gifts or hospitality of nominal value.
Viljava competes within the framework of applicable competition laws. Viljava employees must not take part in any illegal practises that restrict competition.
7. PREVENTION OF FRAUDULENT ACTIVITIES
All fraudulent behaviour or activities are prohibited in Viljava. Such violations are evaluated internally and will be reported to the authorities if the matter so requires.

Financial statements and communication of Viljava is made accurately and in accordance with established procedures and legislation
